Terms and Conditions
Effective May 30, 2026
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Alarm Code ("the app"), provided by Sonora Labs ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
License to use the app
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Alarm Code on Apple devices that you own or control, in line with the Apple Media Services Terms and the Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the app except as allowed by law.
Important: how to rely on the alarm
Alarm Code is designed to be a loud, hard-to-ignore alarm, but it runs on a third-party app within the limits Apple places on all such apps. You understand and agree that:
- An alarm can fail to sound for reasons outside our control, including but not limited to your phone being powered off, restarted, out of battery, in a low power state, force quit, set to a configuration that blocks sound, or affected by an iOS update or bug.
- For the most reliable wake-up, you should keep the app open overnight, keep notifications and background activity enabled, and follow the in-app guidance.
- You should not rely on Alarm Code as your only alarm for anything critical. For important wake-ups, set a backup alarm, such as the built-in iOS Clock app.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any missed wake-up, oversleeping, or any consequence that follows from an alarm not sounding.
In-app purchases
The app is free to download and use. It offers optional in-app purchases that unlock premium features. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and are subject to Apple's terms. Refunds are handled by Apple under their policies, not by us.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the app only for lawful, personal purposes and not to interfere with its operation, attempt to bypass its security, or use it in any way that could harm us or other users.
Intellectual property
The app, its name, logo, design, and content are owned by Sonora Labs and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you.
Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation. You use the app at your own risk.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sonora Labs and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss arising from your use of or inability to use the app, including missed alarms. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app, if any.
Changes to the app and these Terms
We may update, change, or discontinue features of the app at any time. We may also update these Terms, and will revise the date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Sonora Labs, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the courts with jurisdiction over Sonora Labs, unless local consumer law gives you other rights.
