Snooze-proof alarm for iPhone

The alarm clock you can't ignore.

Beat the snooze. Permanently.

Alarm Code is the iPhone alarm clock with no snooze button. The only way to silence it is to get out of bed, walk across the room, and scan an NFC tag or barcode. No swipe, no "five more minutes," no math, no games. Just up.

Free to use. Built for iPhone on iOS 26.

The cost of snooze

Every other alarm lets you lie to yourself. "Five more minutes" quietly turns into an hour.

A snooze button is an off switch for your willpower. You tap it half asleep, drift back into broken sleep, and wake up groggier, rushed, and late. Heavy sleepers and deep sleepers do this every single morning. Alarm Code removes the option completely, so getting out of bed stops being a negotiation you have at 6am and starts being something that simply happens.

How it works

Three steps. Then you're up.

1

Pick a stopper

Use an NFC tag or any product barcode you already own. A cereal box, a toothpaste tube, a coffee bag. Anything with a code works as your morning key.

2

Place it across the room

Bathroom sink, kitchen counter, hallway. Put it far enough that silencing the alarm means standing up and walking over there.

3

Scan to silence

When the alarm rings, scan the code. That is the only way to stop it, and by then you are already out of bed and awake.

A loud wake up

An alarm that drags you out of bed.

Alarm Code rings loud and stays loud. Turning the volume down does not turn it off, and on iOS 26 it cuts through Silent Mode, Do Not Disturb, and Sleep Focus. Stop sleeping through alarms. Stop being late to work or school.

  • Rings through Silent Mode and Focus on iOS 26
  • Keeps coming back until you actually scan
  • Free to use, with optional premium to support the app

Build the habit

A wake-up streak you won't want to break.

Every morning you get up and scan on time is logged. Watch your streak grow, see your wake rate climb, and turn waking up early into something you are quietly proud of instead of something you dread.

  • Track your wake-up streak and on-time rate
  • See twelve weeks of history at a glance
  • Private by design, all of it stays on your phone
Why it works

Built so you can't talk yourself out of it.

No snooze, ever

Not limited snooze. Not smart snooze. None. The button simply does not exist, so you cannot fall back asleep.

Scan to silence

Bind each alarm to an NFC tag or a product barcode. That physical scan is the only thing that ends the alarm.

No math, no games

Other apps make you solve equations or shake your phone in bed. Alarm Code just sends you across the room. Simpler, and harder to cheat.

Cuts through Silent Mode

On iOS 26 it rings through Silent Mode, Do Not Disturb, and Sleep Focus, so a flipped switch cannot mute your morning.

You set the rules

Pair any tag, anywhere. Kitchen, bathroom, front door. Your phone, your code, your problem to solve at 6am.

Private and offline

No accounts, no tracking, no servers. Your alarms and wake history never leave your iPhone.

Who it's for

If you sleep through alarms, this was built for you.

Heavy and deep sleepers

If you sleep through loud alarms and wake up not even remembering turning them off, a code across the room is the fix. You cannot scan it in your sleep.

Chronic snoozers

If your morning is five alarms and forty minutes of "five more minutes," removing the snooze button breaks the loop for good.

Students and early classes

For 8am lectures and exams you cannot miss, Alarm Code makes oversleeping much harder than rolling over and swiping.

Shift workers and early starts

When being late to work is not an option, an alarm that forces you onto your feet is worth more than one you can silence half asleep.

Questions

The honest answers.

Can I really not snooze it?

Correct. There is no snooze button anywhere in Alarm Code, and no swipe to dismiss. The only way to silence a ringing alarm is to scan the NFC tag or barcode you paired with it. That is the entire idea.

How do I actually stop the alarm in the morning?

You get up, walk to wherever you placed your tag, and scan it. You can tap your phone to an NFC sticker or scan a product barcode with the camera. When the code matches, the alarm stops.

Is this good for heavy sleepers who sleep through alarms?

Yes, that is exactly who it is for. Because you have to physically stand up and walk to scan a code, you are awake by the time the alarm ends, instead of silencing it in your sleep and drifting off again.

Does it use math problems or make me shake the phone?

No. No math, no shaking, no mini-games. You scan a real NFC tag or barcode placed across the room. It is simpler than a puzzle and much harder to cheat from bed.

What if I lose the tag or it gets thrown out?

You can pair any product barcode in seconds, so a backup is always within reach. Most people set a stable one, like a bathroom item or an NFC sticker on the wall, and keep a second option in mind.

Will it ring on Silent Mode or Do Not Disturb?

On iOS 26, Alarm Code uses Apple's alarm system to ring through Silent Mode, Do Not Disturb, and Sleep Focus. Like every alarm app it is most reliable when your phone is not force quit, so we recommend leaving it open overnight.

Do I need a special NFC tag?

Any standard NFC sticker works, and they cost very little. If you would rather not buy anything, skip NFC entirely and pair a product barcode you already own.

Does it need internet?

No. Alarm Code works fully offline. Your alarms, tags, and wake history live on your device and nothing is sent to a server.

Is it free?

Yes, Alarm Code is free to use. There are optional premium features for people who want more and who want to support the app.

Which iPhone do I need?

Alarm Code is built for iPhone running iOS 26 or later, where Apple's alarm features make a snooze-proof alarm reliable.

Is my data private?

Yes. Alarm Code does not collect or transmit personal data. There are no accounts and no tracking. Everything stays on your phone. Read the privacy policy for the full detail.

Your only Plan A

This is it. There is no Plan B.

One alarm. One scan. No back-out. The alarm clock you actually get out of bed for.
